Christmas is a special time of year. Obviously, it holds religious importance because it is the day we honor the birth of Jesus Christ and reflect upon His birth, life, death and resurrection. It is also a time for me to reflect on the many special family moments I've had through my life. Even now, living miles away from all our relatives, it's important to me that we spend holidays with our loved ones, whether that be by us traveling or having others visit us. I'm like many people in that I enjoy the decor and the holiday festivities but the most important parts of Christmas have always surrounded family for me.
