Hunter is our youngest child and definitely our most demanding. Sometimes I think that with Hunter's energy level, it's a good thing he wasn't my first; otherwise we may not have seen any more children. Anyway...stick around and learn a little more about Hunter.
Hunter turned three years old last month. He really enjoyed having a birthday cake, blowing out the candles and opening presents. This is probably the first year he really got into the experience. I'm hoping to have some more photos online in the next couple weeks and I'll be able to share some birthday pictures then.
Hunter enjoys going around asking everyone "What's your favorite?" Of course, he doesn't always indicate favorite what. He was showing me his Care Bear figures the other day and asked me my favorite. I told him one of the bears and asked his favorite and he told me Bedtime Bear. He asked my favorite the other day but since I didn't know what he was talking about, I turned the question on him and his reply was "hearts." So...I told him my favorite was butterflies. He didn't even let Steve come up with an answer. After asking Steve his favorite, and having Steve pause to come up with an answer, Hunter chimed in with "airplanes." Can you tell he knows his dad really well?!?!
Well, today's the first day of Hunter's re-designed page. He is two years old now and will be turning three in a couple months. Sometimes I am just amazed at how Hunter's mind works. He has these very detailed, lengthy discussions with Kaitlyn. He really has a great vocabulary and I have no doubt he has learned most of it from his siblings. He cracks me up with some of his sentences. Hunter's also constantly on the go. He rarely sits still and I'm pretty sure that when he's quiet he's plotting something. He's a little daredevil with a mission. There are days I wonder if I'll be gray by nightfall.
Lately, Hunter's favorite things to say are "I'm a bad boy" and "icky, sticky bubblegum" (from a Care Bears video). He counts up to seven and then skips right to 11...I'm not sure when he'll realize there are some extra numbers in there.
